Important Information

This is NOT your ordinary vacation as we are going to be interacting with children and their carers.

Therefore, it is imperative we take all measures to protect them, you, and ourselves from all risks that are associated with this.

In order to join a tour group, we will require a couple of 'extra' things you would not normally need to do to go on a holiday. We will send you all the information in a pack, once you confirm your interest to join us.

Police Check

We will send you forms to fill out and return to us to submit for a Police Check. This is a very common procedure for anyone around children, and it safe guards everyone. This is compulsory and we reserve the right to deny anyone who could be a risk.

Social Media

You will NOT be allowed to post any pictures to social media of anything around the children we work with. It's fine to take some for yourself, but we do ask you to respect us and them in doing this, for very obvious reasons.

Your Health

If you have any health issues that may prevent mobility or being in a high humidity climate, we recommend you do not go on this tour. Whilst the tour itself does not pose any high risk, there is a lot of walking, and often on surfaces that require some care. We also can not guarantee the climate, and in the summer months it is not uncommon for the temperature to be in the 30's with a very high humidity factor.

Return economy airfares from Auckland to Vietnam and the Internal flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Denang.

Other Information

Visa Requirements

It is a requirement that all New Zealanders visiting Vietnam obtain a Tourist Visa (single entry minimum) to gain entry into the country.

You will need a passport valid for at least 6 months after your last day in Vietnam.

The cost of the visa is about $NZ130 and can be obtained in New Zealand before you leave.

Our booking agent is also happy to assist you in the visa process.

We strongly recommend getting your visa through the Wellington Embassy before you leave, as the "Visa on Arrival' process can be lengthy once you are in Vietnam and we don't really want to be waiting around for you while you are waiting for it.

Obtaining your Visa in NZ, means we just go straight on through immigration after we've landed, which after a long flight is a huge relief.

This is not included in the Tour Cost.

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance is essential when travelling to Vietnam. If you have any pre existing medical conditions, make sure you inform your chosen Travel Insurance provider.

Vacinations

We advise you talk to your GP, or a Travel Doctor with regards to getting the vaccinations required for travelling to any South East Asian country.
